Steinbergs VST Audioeffect Plugin in VST Live 3

Hi

Is it possible to implement i.e. Steinbergs VST Audioeffect Plugin “Pitch correct” directly into VST Live 3?

If yes, where can I find this Plugin…?

Any installation of additional plugins creates a delay. And if your playback is synchronized with a metronome, then there will be discrepancies between the metronome and audio. I tried using soundshifter by Waves. This created a delay. As a result, I came to the conclusion that it is better to prepare the track in advance and simply insert it into the VSTL project

Thank you for this answer!!

I really hope this will be fixed in a further update…

Best wishes!

plugin delays can not be „fixed“, sorry.

would need to start processing in the past…

Back to solution: try to find “zero-latency” capable plugins. They do such fast unbuffered signal processing, that they can be used live. They are surely more CPU intensive ones, but you will see if your computer can deal with it or not.

Also summed latency also depends on the Audio settings (buffer-size. Try keep it betwen 64-128samples).

Just sing one bar ahead :joy:

But seriously - Waves Audio plugins seem quite snappy and I think you can get demo versions. I use their harmoniser and don’t notice a delay.

Also Antares autotune pro 11 has harmonizer and pitch shifter that works real-time (almost). The plug-in have a low latency option in preferences. It is cpu intensive though, Max a couple of instances.
