I was of the opinion that I once saw an option that allows me to define, whether all notes on a one-line system are notated stem-up or stem-down. (I am not talking about the right-click option "Force stem upwards.)
Am I wrong (maybe I am fooled by old times)? Or where would I have to look to find that option?
I have a claves line, and all stems should be upwards. The setting in Engraving options – Notes => stems => default stem direction – does not work, stems keep showing down:
