Stem direction in condensed mode error

Here is an image where my flute parts (second line) are showing two different stem directions. Why is this happening and how do I fix this. In write mode-Galley view, all looks correct. Thanks!

@Dilorenzo
condensing issues are complex, one would need to see a bit of your .dorico file to tell why this is happening and how to fix it.
If you can upload (a part of) your dorico file, the mystery will be solved within minutes :slight_smile:

I’m already seeing one potential cause of this: the 3rd note in the 2nd and 4th measures, the upper flute part, has no staccato.

different articulations means that Dorico will not condense these to share a single stem.

How many of the dual-stem passages have note-crossings between the parts (where the top parts jumps past the preceding note in the lower part)? One can set the extent to which the program ignores those.

fixed! Yes, there were missing staccati! This was the only bar like this.

Thanks !!
