Stems on the wrong side of the notehead

Hello,
I’m a new Dorico user. I’m having difficulty figuring out how to put the stems of the first four notes on the correct side of the noteheads (the left side). The first image shows a cross beam between the two staves. Dorico automatically places the beam in between the two staves. However, I want the beam to appear below all of the notes. When I moved the beam below the notes, Dorico automatically places the stems on the right side (instead of the left side) of the notes in the lower staff. How can I correct this?

Did you try to “move the beam” by dragging it in Engrave mode?

Set it back to the default position, and then try Stem / Force stem up (or down) in the right-click menu.
