Step-by-step in using Logic Pro for its instruments when playing Dorico score?

Looking for a link to a walkthrough or just some tips… I’m just getting started with Dorico and Logic and though I found a couple threads here on doing this, including this and this, I haven’t had luck yet. I’m on an M1 iMac with MacOS 15.3.1

I was able to turn on the Logic Pro MIDI virtual in, set this as the MIDI input for a track in a new Logic file, and add the Logic Pro virtual in under the MIDI instruments of my Dorico file. Playing the Dorico score, though, I don’t see or hear anything coming through to Logic.

I welcome suggestions on what to read/try next - thanks!

Making headway here! On Dorico, Play > VST and MIDI, I set MIDI Instruments to Logic Pro Virtual In. And in Play > Track Inspector, I set the Routing to Logic Pro Virtual In, with each track assigned its own channel.

In Logic Pro, under Track > Create Track Stack… I made a summing track stack with two tracks for my test, and I enabled R (record).

Now the Logic Pro instruments I choose for the two tracks in the summing track stack are what Dorico uses to play my excerpt.
