Step input doesn’t work for me when Cubase isn’t the foregorund application. I need to see a window with sheet music to play the notes, but when I switch from Cubase to that window, play notes and go back to Cubase, there are no notes entered. Is is a bug or intended functionality? Is it possible to fix it/switch it off?
