Hi All, can i record in step mode? Would like to record drums in step or pattern mode rather than in real time.

Hi Maas,
There is no dedicated step recording mode for that but you can use the MIDI editor to create the notes and put them wherever you want.

Hmm that sounds a little fiddly on a small screen. I have read that there may be a drum pattern editor creator being considered for future releases, is this correct?

Yes, there is a plan for a drum editor, however, we are working at the moment on other very interesting topics and I can’t say when we are going to implement this.
