I’m having an issue with the step modulator in that it’s triggering the final step briefly when first pressing play:
- I have four steps, each 1/4 note, with the fourth step adjusted to be non-zero.
- The retrigger mode is set to ‘Sync to Project Start’.
- My current position is 1.1.1.0.
The graph output shows what is expected when not playing (i.e. a square wave on for 25% of the time), but when I press play the modulator will briefly jump to the level of the last step then carry on playing correctly. This can be seen on the graph as a brief peak on the square wave.
On a related note, say I have the modulator connected to the pitch, the pitch jumps on the fourth beat as expected. The problem is that when it first triggers the pitch is still briefly at the position it was at the end of the previous cycle. Almost as though the end of the step is, say, 2.1.1.0 rather than 1.4.4.119.
Any ideas?
