Hi all, hope it’s fine to post this here (otherwise please let me know).
I’m excited to announce my book on Immersive Music Production: ‘STEREO – WAS A NICE TRY’ (Creating and Producing Immersive Music).
As I’m working in Nuendo and presenting Nuendo as my perfect tool for immersive music, this is the right place to post this I think!
The book is a guide to exploring immersive music in a home studio environment - from composing and producing to mixing, mastering, and live performance. You’ll learn how to mix in Dolby Atmos, work in binaural audio, and create music in 3D, covering channel-based, object-based and scene-based audio - from the basics to the more nerdy stuff.
The book is self financed and a big promo for Steinberg/Nuendo.

Since you asked
The forum guidelines explicitly state:
This is a community forum and not a marketplace.
Commercial posts or any kind of 3rd party advertisement is not allowed.
You’ve posted both in WaveLab and Nuendo, and while certainly an interesting topic on its own, it’s a rather clear violation of the forum guidelines. The way I would look at it is to say, “if you can do this, so can everyone else” and every single plugin, members-only video tutorials, book, certification, training, etc can. I’m surprised it’s still up, actually.
I only say this because you asked. I didn’t flag it, but I thought about because it is a rather clear violation, even though I may personally find the material interesting. I’ll leave it at that
Sorry, I didn’t stand still by this. I’m just so deep in this book creation process that I’m not thinking about advertising or marketplaces. I just want to spread the word for those who could be interested. And I’m a big advocate for Nuendo, which can be interesting for Steinberg too I think.
I deleted the webshop links so it is less of an advertisment. Hope it’s ok like this?
Otherwise, the administrator may delete my post.
Thanks for letting me know!
100%, and I totally get it. My post was only to serve as an identification that the post itself violated the spirit of the forum guidelines. I’m no Forum Police
. I think the removal of the purchase links was a good move, personally. I wish you the best of luck with it, and congratulations on getting that done. I can imagine how difficult something like that must be!

I only wish this book was available a couple of years ago, an excellent read with much valuable content.
Thanks a lot Marnison! That makes my day!
The immersive music community is small, and the amount of people who read books is even smaller. So, I’m very happy you found the book, and that it could be of a help.
Thanks a lot!

I found it via the interesting Michael G Wagner interview you were involved with.

Great to hear! Thanks again
Steinberg could have a recommended literature sticky thread. Locked and only the staff posts a list of recommended reads. Two sections: Master classics and user books/courses. People with a new unknown book/course would apply to them, give them a free copy. They would approve the good ones and list them.
This way the forum standards stay intact, so that it doesn’t devolve into an advertising wild west, and the good courses still get exposure.
