I have just installed the Cubase Elements 8 Trial, and even with running Cubase and the eLicense program in administrator mode AND the soft license shows up in the program, Cubase refuses to acknowledge there is a valid License. Any idea what’s going on? I’m running Windows 10.

What message is displayed? Is it about the Activation or a registration?
Please do not run eLCC and/or Cubase as administrator (except when asked so by technical support, or by the program itself) .
Even though it might work to run both programs as administrator at the same time, this is not recommended in order to prevent file system permission issues regarding the Soft-eLicenser.
Running eLCC as administrator while running Cubase a normal user will definitively not work correctly.
