J’ai signalé 3 fois celà au support. En fait, avant, Nous avions un bouton quitté qui est retiré.
Closing the hub should only close the hub. There are myriad other windows one can have open, including multiple deactivated projects, MediaBay, MixConsole for different projects, etc. The hub is simply a project-based navigation feature. If closing the hub closed all windows in Cubase, it would be absolutely disastrous. As in “catastrophic.” It would make the application unusable for me.
I don’t understand the “fool the user” comment at all. You’re aware you can have multiple projects and windows open all at the same time, correct?
Oops, sorry, I was looking at the wrong case.
This is about closing the hub. While Steinberg sees it as a valid feature I, too, find it highly irritating and annoying. They removed the Quit button from the hub as well.
I will make a small annotation to my previous message.
The problem I point is :
Close a project with perf monitor open and it opens the hub, perfmon stay open.
Then close the Hub, perfmon is now still open.
Then close perfmon and it reopen the hub.
It looks like a game.
In the old times there has been a flight simulator hidden inside Excel, certainly same idea came to Steinberg.
The removed ‘Close everything’ button is missing from the hub, as said before.
it does not happen to me.
