I am new to Cubase , I love the channel strip and not having to think about inserting Plug-ins , for standard tasks , I wonder if anyone has tested or found these to be heavy and lite on the CPU ?
I haven’t made a test, but if I run a full modern rock production (lot of drum, guitar, vocal and keys (audio) tracks), using only stock plugins, but many instances of them and using intensively the channel strip, the cpu load can reach circa 25% in a PC from year 2013 (i7 fourth generation). When I use third part plugins the story is totally different.
