Stop automatic respelling in score editor?

Is there a way to set the Cubase score editor to use flats over sharps with enharmonic spellings unless I manually respell them to sharp/natural otherwise?

And also disable the automatic respelling?

When manually transposing voices in a chord the score editor will enharmonically respell on the fly which can be rather disorienting and confusing. I’d rather say to Cubase: just use flats here (on a project-basis, whereas other times I might want to prefer sharps).

I would also prefer to not set a global key signature since I do a lot of modulation, but open to that if it’s the only way.

Not sure if “use flats over sharps” (or the other way round) is the solution to the unpredictable way Cubase handles accidentals.
I´d recommend a look into the old score editor, where I rarely had to respell. And when I had to, I could be sure the accidentals stayed the way I set them.
Whatever rule set was implemented, they should use that in the new score editor, too.
