Stopping and starting a drum loop (set on Jam Mode)

Slight hiJack.
I have GA5 and haven’t found a way of stopping and starting a drum loop (set on Jam Mode) without hitting the play button within the GA5 window. I’d rather close the GA5 window and/or not use the GA5 controls with the mouse once set up. Preferably, I’d like to trigger play and stop GA5 from my StreamDeck which has midi and key command functionality.
Any tips on how to get GA5 to play and stop without using the mouse or using ‘follow transport’.

Clearly, I have been taking the wrong approach. GA5 Jam mode can be triggered by midi in much more sophisticated ways than I guessed. I was simply looking to press the start/stop button using a key command, but it’s not meant to be used like that. Having now seen GO’s tute I can see many more options than simply triggering the stop/play button.
