Stopping MIDI through during note input

EDIT: never mind, I found the option in the preferences, same functionality as Sibelius.

New to Dorico but experienced with Sibelius. I have Pianoteq which I have loaded into Reaper, and connected to MidiPipe (MIDI virtual pipes on Mac) where I intend to use it both with Dorico and other software.

For a piano score in Sibelius, what I would typically do is define a MIDI playback device and choose as the MIDI destination one of the pipes that Reaper will read from. That way I can use Sibelius playback with Pianoteq.

When I play on my keyboard, the MIDI is routed both to Reaper and to Sibelius. So I disabled “MIDI through” in the Sibelius note input dialog or else every key played would be sent to Reaper twice.

Attempting something similar in Dorico, I’m getting some strange behavior. It seems that MIDI through is activated sometimes and sometimes not. For instance if I have just input or selected notes, MIDI though is active. (Every key played gets sent to Reaper twice.) If I go to the preferences, change anything, and exit, MIDI through is not active… until I select a note again, after which it’s active again.

Is there some setting to mimic the behavior I’m used to in Sibelius?
