I sometimes encounter a strange behaviour from Dorico 6 in an imported xml file for string quartet. If I add more bars inside the piece, the barlines does not show on the bottom two staffs. I want to add the bars, then paste from my clipboard, but the display looks messed up. There is probably some imported coding that I cant get rid of. Any suggestions?

Although I dont really understand why it would assign separate time signatures, when the .musx file was normal with one time signature for the whole piece.
Good. I can’t say why. Could be the original file. Is this an XML from Finale?
And, if so, are you sure they are not independent there? Common problem with Finale files is missing beats. I think there is a plugin to check for that before exporting (Check region for duration).

OT, I think I heard you in Oslo around 1978/79 with Anders Kjellberg on drums. Could have been at Club 7 at the same concert as Stanley Clarke.
Ah, that is absolutely possible! Yes, it´s from a Finale file, and maybe yes, there is one eight note missing in the original, or something.
You can always Select - Filter all the time signatures, and delete them; then add new ones.
