Strange behavior when saving a new montage to specific location

i have rendered a montage to a specific folder:

now i want to save the newly created montage into the same folder where the wav files are:

WL creates a folder outside the desired destination (\3-)

how can i save the .mon to the same folder as it’s source files?

There is indeed a small WaveLab bug for your particular case.
Simply change even a single letter in the name field of the audio montage so that it is different than the end of the path you want to save to.
This special case will be solved in WaveLab 13.0.10
