Hi, there seems to be a bug in the connections i have encountered this since version 2.1. We currentley use 2 Zoom guitar effects pedals 1x Zoom G5N and a Zoom G3 and when i go to the connections menu i can normally sellect Zoom G series for one of the pedals and then Zoom G Series (2) for the other pedal which has been working fine. Now since version 2.1 The connections menu only shows Zoom G Series twice and i cannot assign these to 2 different pedals it does not work but will work if i only assign 1 to 1 pedal. ( Please see below pics ) it seems that it is only picking up the one Zoom G Series connection in the software then duplicating that one. i have tried up to the latest version 2.1.4 and still the problem persists. we use the midi control change for changing our pedal patches and it will only work on 1 pedal at a time now.
… we will remove the “Multi-Port” function and rollback to the old scheme. With that we will remove the new selection dialog, too. Can you please re-try the next Update (Tomorrow, Friday) and let us know if all is back working?
Hi Michael, so had a rehersal session last night using version 2.1.5 and although i could see and choose both my zoom pedals on the midi in connection listed as " Zoom G Series and Zoom G Series (2)“. The problem still exists in Midi out section of the connections menu it has listed " Zoom G Series” listed twice or duplicated which i cannot assign to both pedals at once. i can try with the new version if you think it might be fixed in that one.
For this to work correctly it needs to show Zoom G Series and then Zoom G Series (2) selecting Both Zoom G Series on both pedals will not function properly.
Hi @Spork , that’s great, next rehearsals are tomorrow night but hey we will give it a go after the next release. Many thanks for your super quick fix on these minor issues.
Thanks, Johnny🎸
