Strange Control Room behavior

Well, I’m stuck, hoping someone might have a suggestion. I just returned from vacation and Nuendo’s Control Room refuses to see my assigned outputs for my RME Totalmix UFXII. All was working fine when I left and to make matters even more strange, Quicktime/Soundly/Presonus Studio One and Protools all work fine. Nuendo works fine too as long as I turn Control Room off, the minute I activate Control Room Nuendo no longer passes audio to Totalmix. I’ve reinstalled RME drivers, updated firmware, rebooted etc to no avail. Anyone have any ideas? I’m currently working with Control Room off but CR is integral to my setup. Thanks and sorry for the ramble, I’m a bit jet lagged.

Have you double-checked your routing for Control Room?

Thanks. Yes, still nothing. No matter which CR outputs I set Nuendo to, with CR activated it will not send audio to Totalmix.

I meant in the VST connections window for example. Just in case the outputs got either reassigned or completely deleted and you have to set them up again.

So not just choosing different outputs in CR.

Maybe show some screenshots of what you see in various windows.

Thanks, I assumed you meant the VST connections window. Your question did give me the idea to trash all of the connections there and rebuild them but that didn’t help. Once I get thru the job I’m on I’ll just have to uninstall RME and start over, fingers crossed.

I mentioned being jet lagged earlier…the “Activate Control Room Channel” button in the Control Room View in the meter got turned off, that was it. Oy.
