I borrow a friend’s Strat and plugged it into line one on my UR44, which is Hi-Z, which is what I thought I was supposed to do (I’m usually on keys or drums) and I got a lot of noise. I moved it to line 4, which is a mic/line combo and it sounded fantastic. I can’t find anything about the Strat being a low impedance guitar.
Any ideas why this is?
