Strategy for Apple Silicon upgrade

I’m the kind of guy that likes a bit of plugin folder organization.

I’ve got an M1 Macbook where my VST3 plugin folder now has some Intel only plugins and some plugins that are Apple Silicon Native compatible.

So, I open up Cubase 12 in Native mode and a bunch of plugins are blocked, and some Waves plugin don’t even show up, and it just feels like a mess.

Is there a way to create a VST3 folder for just Apple Silicon native plugins and then link that VST3 folder inside of Cubase? We’ve been able to do this for years with user-defined VST2 plugin folders, but I’ve never done it for VST3…

Also, maybe I’m getting more confused than necessary? What is your strategy for this upgrade?
