Ahh I can see, you open the main Key Editor window, and this window has the name in the left top corner.
If you open the midi editing in the lower zone it doesn’t get a name, it’s part of the project window so there is no change.
Thanks for clearing this up.
You have to make a profile for every streamdeck page? It is not possible to go direct to page 2 of a profile is it?
My former skepticism regarding The Stream Deck principle went away completely when, - a few months ago, - a friend and colleague recommended to me a software utility similar to the concept of the (physical) Stream Deck. It’s called “TouchPortal” which I was able to install on my Lenovo Idea Tab on Android.
Although it does take some time to configure and setup everything, I’m still glad about having spent those ca. 30 EUR (all in all) for a highly configurable utility, which can be used with a tablet as well as with a phone. And together with an iCON P1 Nano it really helps to save time while editing.
Yes Markus, I use Touch Portal too next to my streamdeck. Great for easy access to macros and key commands.
This auto switching in streamdeck makes things easier, I have not been able to get this working on TP.
Also check this thread, if you want a plugin where you can add keycommands, if you find yourself using the mouse more.
