I’d like my fingering for thumb to appear as a small T like I’ve done in the second bar here (with simple text). I can’t find in engraving options how to make it like this instead of the default 0 with a tick at the bottom.
I’m using Dorico 6. I’ve seen people say that there’s an option for this but I can’t find it!
Look here: Library > Engraving Options…“ „Fingering“ → „Right-hand plucked fingering“. There you will find an option called “Thumb-Indicator”. As far as I found out, you will get only this “t” but not the desired “T”.
Maybe better create a playing technique.
Even when I select the ‘t’ option there, it’s still appearing with the 0…
It would really be great if it could be a fingering, and not a playing technique, so it interacts properly with other fingerings. Based on other parts of the forum, it seems like in earlier versions of Dorico, this was possible, but perhaps it was a change made in Dorico 6 that was overseen or something?
Anybody have an idea??
