Struggling to Crossgrade to Nuendo 12 because both my Steinberg accounts are linked to same email

Hi,

I’m struggling to Crossgrade from Cubase Pro 12 to Neundo 12.
Currently there is an offer to Crossgrade for £193 which ends tonight (in about 2 hours).

When I first purchased Cubase Pro 12 it was via the Competitive Crossgrade option from Logic Pro X. This was almost a year ago.

Anyway, for some reason I thought it would be a good idea to use the same email address (yahoo) for the Steinberg Store and the Steinberg License Portal.

As a result, when I login from one account to the other my Password doesn’t get recognised and so I have to reset it.

The problem I have right now is that I can’t login to the Steinberg Store to complete the purchase.
I’ve been waiting over 20 minutes for the password reset email to be sent to me (not in Spam folder).

I’m concerned that by the time I receive the Password reset email to offer will end.

If I create a new Steinberg Shop account using my hotmail email address is this going to cause me problems with my Licenses.

Any support would be greatly appreciated - I’d hate to miss out on such a fantastic offer!

I can’t really help with your issue but I think there won’t be a problem if you create another shop account. After purchasing a license, you get an activation code that is not tied to your Steinberg account. Just redeem it in the Download Assistant where you’re logged in with your MySteinberg credentials. The license will then be added to this account if the crossgrade validation check was successful, i.e. an eligible Cubase Pro 12 license was found there.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll give it a try…

All sorted!
