The standard strumming symbols are those which you can see in the attached file, not arrows. These are used only in classical notation, but not rhythm notation.
The symbols for the Playing Technics in the notation toolbox are exactly those strumming symbols I would need, but inside the toolbox they are not. Strange.
How can I create them? Please.
They’re in the Strings section of the Playing Techniques panel, because they’re used far more frequently on bowed string instruments to mean “upbow” and “downbow”. You can type upbow and downbow into the Shift+P popover, or you can grab the symbols from the panel.
