Hi Everyone
New iMac, loaded the cubase fresh 10.5.20, which on my old iMac was working fine
latest Catalina,latest e licensor
Cubase license shows in e licensor and is registered in my account.
I start up cubase, it gets to mediabay and hangs till “licensor control error” pops up. If I unplug the Licensor and plug it back in and hit retry it will load. but I now have to do this every single time. what can I do to fix this?
I have trashed the e licensor 3 times and reloaded.

I have now nuked cubase and reinstalled full from scratch, it opened one time, I closed it and it does it again
sticks at media bay for minutes and minutes until an elicnsor error comes up and I have to force quit cubase
well I found an old video someone made of something like this issue, I got it started again by pulling the elicnsor and plugging it back in and went into pref/mediabay/and checked only scan mediabay when in use
now it opens every time
any idea if checking the will hose anything when using stuff in cubase?
