StudioEQ not included in Elements 8?

Just upgraded from Elements 6, and I’m happy with the upgrade. However, the comparison charts for both 7 & 8 list StudioEQ as an included plug-in for Elements, and this doesn’t seem to be the case. I sure can’t find it, and the in program plug-in reference lists it as artist/pro/nuendo. A bit of a disappointment there.

Definitely some conflicting information. I would contact Steinberg support and see what they have to say about it.

Good luck.

Can you please post a link to the page reporting StudioEQ as included in Cubase Elements?

I confirm it is not included in Elements, so that would be an error.

The extended comparison chart (7 / 7.5) is no longer available from the site, but it’s still online: https://www.steinberg.net/fileadmin/files/PRODUCTS/Cubase/Generation_7/Cubase_7.5/Downloads/C75-CA75-CE7_extensive_comparison_chart.pdf

The concise comparison also does not state it is included (Compare the Versions of Cubase | Steinberg) - so, a link to the page where you read it would be most useful.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Fabio,

here´s the direct link (pdf) on your URL:

http://www.steinberg.net/fileadmin/files/PRODUCTS/Cubase/Generation_8/Downloads/Cubase_Generation_8_—_List_of_included_VST_3_plug-ins.pdf

http://www.steinberg.net/de/products/cubase/line_up/cubase_elements_8.html

the comparison charts list Studio EQ as an included plugin for CE 8.

kind regards,
Central

Oops, looked in every document except the most obvious place.

Thank you Centralmusic, I’ll let the proper people know about the conflicting information.
Sorry for this.

REFUND !!!

Thank you. Also here in CE 7: http://www.steinberg.net/fileadmin/files/PRODUCTS/Cubase/Generation_7/Cubase_7/Downloads/Cubase_Comparison_Chart.pdf

I will just mention that the build in EQ and the studio EQ uses the same algorithms. If you want to use more than one EQ, then It’s a problem.

Yes.
Anyway, it would be nice to have “Studio EQ” in Cubase Elements !

Improvement? short-term update?
:bulb:
The facts are clear. (see pdf… e.g.)

I must say the channel EQ seems much improved from 6.

pffff…
