I’m using substitute fingering for an extended trill/tremolo where I want to indicate multiple fingers in one hand to change at the same time. The problem is that the substitute fingering feature only allows a single digit, unlike the main finger entry, which supports multiple digit entry for trills, ornaments, etc.
It could be that I’m not understanding how to invoke multiple substitute digits - but it appears to me to be a bug or unnecessary constraint.
In the example below I have a substitute fingering in the LH upper voice and I need to indicate two numbers (51) instead of just one as is shown. I have tried to do this in both the prompt box and the lower Fingering menu. In both cases the substitution only allows one digit.
Admittedly - this is a very minor issue that won’t come up very often, but it also seems like it could be an easy fix.
