we all now, that a guitar player doesn’t nessecarily bother playing the bass note (it’s been played by the bass anyway) but rather ends up playing a substructure of the chord, for example the third, fifth and seventh, which, in itself, could be seen as a different chord of its own right.
Professional players do that, beginners do not have the insight. I would love to have the possibility to reflect that in Dorico.
I am aware of the workaround presented here, but I think of a nice little option like this:
