I am in the process of setting a large orchestral work. The braces and brackets are all in place and fine until they suddenly disappear at bar 109. This only applies to percussion (timps, T. bells, tamb. and B/D) at this point the organ and handbells are not needed but when they appear ( bar 532 - 557 ) the bracket for the organ manuals is missing as are the braces (still) for the mentioned percussion. I’ve tried to enter then individually without success. Any ideas, please? Thanks in advance. Michael.
Is there are Manual Bracket Signpost anywhere?
If not, can you show us some screenshots or upload the score?

Ex 1 is the start of the work and all ok (except for the brace that has suddenly appeared for the handbells.

Ex 3 is where the organ and handbells start (bar 532 - 557)

Can you show us Setup mode, with the Players and Instruments? I’m guessing the Tambourine is not in the same group.
Also, can you confirm that there are no Bracket change signposts anywhere?

On reflection, something has just occured to me. I think that the disappearance of the brackets may (?) have coincided with adding extra bars . Is this possible/probable. Thanks again.

It should not be the cause (adding bars). A manual override of brackets and braces should 
This would involve you checking out every start of page to look for such brown signpost, and when you find one, delete it…
I’ve checked each page - no bracket/barline change signs. Attached is a screenshot of the pages on which this disappearance happens!
Without the actual project, it’s almost impossible to diagnose the underlying cause… But I notice that the RH page looks like a (modified?) First Page template: I see extra text frames that, probably, originally were for lyricist/copyright. I don’t think a bracket change is inherent with such a template change, but maybe it’s a factor somehow?
Pjotr is right, your right page is really strange (as far as text frames are concerned)
I don’t know why you’ve chosen Engrave Frames sub-mode to show us the score (the graphics sub-mode or Write mode would probably be more appropriate), and we don’t see any signpost so it’s impossible to be sure none is there (view menu>signposts >Show)

For me, the most relevant piece of information was the (view menu>signposts >Show) suggestion from MarcLarcher - it immediately identified the ‘bracket/bar change’ flag and all is now repaired. Thanks again, M.
