As normal/insert mode handles input quite differently (with risk of overwriting stuff if not remebering what mode you’re in), it would be great with another color (red?) for the carrot/marked notes when being in Insert mode!

There’s already an indication for this: the caret grows “serifs” (for lack of a better term) in Insert mode. Changing the color to red could confuse people re. active voice color, not to mention the headache it would be for color-blind users.
This is already clear about the mode !
The graphic is different !
Would be nice to have caret color relative about Voice we work on !
