When I want an added 9 on the C chord and don’t want it to be played like a C9, I would like to use the word “add”. I can choose that in the settings, no problem.
However, I DO NOT want this extra word “add” if there is more than 1 added note to a chord. In that case, just the brackets will do.
I believe this is fairly common praxis.
Therefore, an extra option should be added in Engraving Options. It looks like this now:
and a checkbox could be added “force the use of “add” when only one extra note is added”.
