It was a wonderful day when I discovered the middle-click to scroll/pan in the Project window. I can just grab the window and physically move it to where I want in real-time without having to worry about changing any parameters. Very tactile, incredible workflow boost.
In the Mixer window currently, you can only middle-click-grab the routing/insert zone, and you can ONLY grab-scroll it up and down. On faders or within the fader zone, middle-click does the same as left-clicking and doesn’t grab at all. This is inconsistent UI functionality and makes no sense.
Fixing this to work like how the Project window also gives users a fast way to horizontally move the mixer with the mouse that does not require movement to predetermined “scroll zone” areas and does not risk accidentally changing mixer settings. This is sorely needed.
