suggestion: note length zone for midi input

My first midi sequencer program for windows (think its name was “Master Tracks”, and it was great)
had this feature, maybe it could be implemented one day into Dorico, because it is so very useful…

One could define a zone on the midi input piano - normally the lowest octave - and assign the
note length to the keys … eg c = full, d = half, e = quarter etc, the black keys for accidentals
eg. f# = sharp g# = natural, a# = flat , and common articulations … eg. d# staccato…
→ with the left hand, you would select the note length, with the right hand the pitch.

This is on our wish list for the future.
