Suggestion to Add Coding Capability to Cubase

As a long-time user of Cubase, I would like to present a suggestion for improving the software. My proposal is to add a feature similar to formula writing in Excel. This feature would allow users to define repetitive and personalized processes through coding, and save them as a “Preset” to be reused across various projects.

For example, in my music composition and harmonize process, I often modify second and seventh intervals, according to a few simple harmony rules to create Consonant Harmony. If Cubase had coding or macro-writing capabilities, I could define these rules, and the software would automatically apply them. This would save a great deal of time and increase productivity.

Ultimately, Steinberg could use these user-defined commands and experiences to develop a simple AI that optimizes various aspects of composition and sound design within Cubase.

Hi and welcome to the forum,

Add the optional feature-request tag to your post, please.

For your particular case: have a look at Rapid Composer.

I’m sold!

Maybe add it to the Logical Editor, a Logical Editor Pro, as it were.
