Supervision plugin bypass does not work

hi, am I the only only one who cannot use the bypass on Supervision, I always have to open it and power off, in both stereo out & control room, I have been experiencing this problem in cubase 11 pro but recently upgraded to 14 pro still the same problem, anyone know fifths may be settings related perhaps?

Since SuperVision does not influence the sound and bypassing a plugin does not reduce CPU load, what would be the purpose of a bypass for this plugin?

cool I though maybe it does affect cpu load since its a plugin, thanks for your comment

If you merely bypass a plugin it will still use full CPU cycles. The plugin is still running. This is done so that you can seamlessly switch between bypass and no bypass.
If you want to refrain a plugin from using CPU cycles you have to switch it off.

Wouldn’t this setting come into effect when the plugin is bypassed?

EDIT:
I’ll answer that one myself.
–No it would not. Bypassing a plugin does not remove the audio input to it.
–Thanks @mlib for clearing that up!
–You’re welcome.
