Should Wavelab be bringing in bwf metadata when a surround file is decoded? I don’t know if the surround file has no metadata or whether Wavelab is just not passing it through.

Sorry, I mean passed through to the decoded stereo and mono files that are created. I need to save those files as permanent decoded files with metadata if at all possible. I can’t read the metadata from the surround file directly in Wavelab, even just to see it. (if it’s there, that is).
Are you speaking of a surround file decoded in the montage? Then no (even for standard stereo files).
If you speak about the batch processor (that can handle surround files), then… maybe this works, I don’t remember.
