Hey,
This is a behaviour that Cubase used to have, and when I added an instrument track or insert effect, etc, while the project was playing back, it would suspend the MIDI, until the thing I added was loaded. As it is now, if I add a track, it seems to buffer the MIDI continuously, and consequently I get a blast of audio when things are loaded up again.
Is there a way to fix this? I frequently add instruments and continue playing while Cubase loops, and it’s annoying to have to turn down the audio output every time I do that, lest I send a huge blast of audio to my monitors.
