Sustain Pedal Problems (again)

Hey Guys,

I’m at my wits end. $2500 computer, $600 DAW, $700 interface, $200 keyboard/controller - the year is 2012. I can zoom in on streets in any foreign country around the world with my cell phone, but I can’t for the life of me get Cubase 6.5.4 to bloody sustain a note! WTF??!?!?!

I’ve tried searching the posts. Uninstall/reinstall drivers, directlink, reseting preferences, generic remote etc.

Is there another way?

M-audio sustain plugged in M-audio oxygen 61, plugged into PC via USB.

Somebody please…

It might be a polarity problem. Try starting up the keyboard ( or it might be the computer, I can’t quite tell from the manual) with the sustain pedal pressed.

Thanks for the suggestion - unfortunately that didn’t work.

I’ve requested some detailed step-by-step support from Steinberg. Hoping they’ll come through…
