Suzy Was A Gambler

An original I co-wrote and recorded with a friend back in 1978.
Recorded 16 track to 2 track anolog.
I turned the volume up a bit with Cubase 6 recently.
Reason’s sang Lead vocal. From the ALBUM Hall & Reasons - Spaceship

One from the time capsule! Must have been fun to make back then. How did your album do?

Ya Lot-sa fun. Learned alot about recording and song writing from it.
It didn’t do very well. I might try to put the rest of it on soundcloud also.

Nice tune with the classic analog tape sound!

Reminds me a bit of Moby Grape, Little Feat, etc

Thanks Twilight: Yea 3M M79 2-INCH Analog. Yea the basic track was fun to record on
this tune. Moby Grape maybe----I played alot of ALLMAN Brothers back then and my Bassline
has alot of runs like those songs. My Partner Mark REASON’S back then wrote the Lyric’s
on this one. He used to go to Las Vegas alot hence SUZY WAS A GAMBLER.
I have no idea who SUZY was.

PS: I Found a website that talks about VINYL RECORDS out of print.
They did a weird review of this album SPACESHIP 1978 on it.
