Thank you for joining me on this. I am starting with the number inside the bracket, while your example starts with the number outside the bracket. The result looks different. First I have to find out how to get the number outside the bracket. Then I expect things will work like your example. (I have Dorico 5.1)

I showed the examples with all the mentioned properties already applied. If you set all the properties as in the examples, it should happen automatically. (in particular the unchecked **Avoid collision** of the bracket, together with the **negative Horizontal x offset** of the fingering give me your desired result). Also maybe try deactivating **Substitution offset**.
