I’d like to swap the names of Tenor Sax. 1 and 2 in my bigband score. Changing places doesn’t do the trick. It’s the automated 1 and 2 I want to swap.
Doesn’t it work if you drag Tenor 2 above Tenor 1 in Setup mode?

Otherwise, you could rename the players, and set Library->Layout Options->Staves and Systems to show Player names instead.
You can also select all in both tenor staffs and do Edit->Paste Special->Swap to actually swap the material and not the names.
Thanks! I think the quickest way is some workaround. Rename the Tenor Sax into somthing else: Genor Bax, and than rename it back, while you have the tenor you want to be 1 above the other in setup mode. Than Dorico will automatically make the upper one one. Once again you have to think like Dorico. I‘m not complaining: it still beats every other score writer. Mann it‘s hot here in the Netherlands…
