Swap MIDI files between platforms?

Is it possible to swap Cubasis 3 MIDI files between Android, Windows and iOS? I’m guessing that you can’t.
I expect that sending wave files between platforms will work?
Many thanks for your time in answering.

Hi @MorphicJim,

Normally, it should work fine to open Cubasis 3 projects on iOS and Android.

Algonside, it is possible to import Cubasis projects with supported Cubase versions on macOS and Windows via the freely downloadable Cubasis Project Importer.

Due to the given feature differences between the app versions, the imported file may show differences compared to the original project.

Hopte that helps!

Best wishes
& stay safe,
Lars

Many thanks for that Lars. Pleasantly suprised!
Can you use Cubasis 3 on Windows PC, phones and tablets, and swap files between platforms, too please?

(Also, off topic, but FYI, perhaps for a list of suitable devices you might have, Cubasis 3 runs well on the Lenovo M10 Plus FHD 10.3’ second gen. Octacore 4GB 64GB tablet, but there is still about a quarter of a second lag/latency on the internal keyboard and pads.)

Hi @MorphicJim,

As of yet, Cubasis is available for iOS and Android compatible phones and tablets, fulfilling the requirements listed on our website: Compare the Versions of Cubasis | Steinberg

Hope that helps!

Best wishes,
Lars

Thanks again Lars. Stay safe.
