I have noticed that if I switch to another project and then switch back too quickly, dorico will freeze. Both projects have playback template set to “silence”. Can you reproduce this?
Dorico will certainly pause for a moment when switching between projects, even with the ‘Silence’ playback template chosen, but it should always recover. If it doesn’t, please use Process Monitor to sample both the Dorico and VSTAudioEngine2 processes and provide us with the logs so that we can take a look and see what might be happening on your computer.
