switching to GM map causes no sound from VST??

Quick issue probably a simple solution
When I switch to drum map with any VST instrument the sound disappears: No faders lighting up, nothing. Why is this happening? any help would be greatly appreciated,

Check midi channel

Drum maps use midi channel 10 by default I think.
Your VST is probably set to channel 1.

You can open drum map setup and change the channel to 1 or to any.
Holding Ctrl while selecting midi channel will change it for all notes so you don’t have to do it one by one.

Or set your VST to receive at channel 10. That should also work
