# Switching to Steinberg ARA Plugins (SL 12 Pro, WL Go 13) Crashes UA Luna

Whenever I attempt to change to a Steinberg plugin like ARA WaveLab Go or ARA Spectralayers Pro 12, UA Luna Studio (DAW) crashes immediately. I’ve tried this on a fresh session with only one audio track or with pre-existing sessions and get the crashing either way. It doesn’t happen with any of my other ARA plugins, just Steinberg’s.

Anybody else getting this/is it a known issue and is there a work around?

FWIW running Luna on a Mac M2 Max 32GB RAM/MacOS 26.7.1 and Luna 3.1.0.4581
