I haven’t seen any updates for a very long time.
We had a big update for our VI Dimension Strings implementation last year, which included many enhancements (e.g. various convenient divisi and string control symbols in Dorico, …). What are you missing in the present implementation?
We are actively working on Synchron Player presets for non-Dimension libraries (both Synchron and Studio series). It is a big effort to port everything due to VSL’s decision to discontinue the great VI pro player (and it is a pity that many of the Studio series libraries are missing content compared to the VI libraries), but taking into account that both the Synchron and the Studio series have just been completed we are already quite far

The problem to port our extensive Dimension library implementations to the Synchron Player is that the Synchron Player so far does not include the necessary functionality to realize our signature Auto-divisi feature: i.e. that VI pro automatically distributes all notes appearing in the score among the different players, desks or groups. In Dorico this is crucial since only this way any standard score can be played back correctly (without editing, introducing different staves, … ).
