I’m actually on Cubase 5 (64 bit), but that forum is dead. I don’t know why, but one day, I restarted my computer and Cubase decided it no longer liked Sylenth1 after months of it working just fine. I reinstalled Sylenth1 multiple times, restarted the computer multiple times and it consistently crashes on that synth. Is there a folder I need to clear or something? I can’t remember what else there is to try when reinstalling doesn’t work. Thanks in advance.
I’m assuming you have AVG anti-virus on your system? If so, go into the menu and click on exceptions and go into Program Files/Steinberg/Cubase.exe and add that to the exceptions list. AVG had an update which caused Cubase freeze when opening Sylenth1. Hope that helped. If not try disabling your AV and Internet connection and try opening Sylenth1 again.
