Why is “done” left-aligned on the top system here, and center-aligned on the last measure?
This is how I have the Engraving Options set:
It’s a melisma, so it uses the “with extender lines” property, even if you have them turned off.
EDIT: I should clarify… it involves a note extension of some kind, whether slur or tie. Not necessarily a melisma.
I see… What I don’t see is an Engraving Options setting for specifying how melismas are handled. All I can find is the Properties Bar setting to center a specific syllable.
CORRECTION… I see it’s that setting above “Syllables with extender lines” - kind of weird if you ask me!

If you used the word extension lines, the alignments would make more sense. (And it would help the reader, too.)
