A couple of questions regarding guitar symbols indicating the position of bar chords in guitar music. First, it is standard practice in classical guitar notation (standard notation) to indicate the position with a roman numeral. I assumed the place to find those symbols would be within Playing Techniques > Guitar, since C and 1/2C already exists there (along with the continuation option of an extended line). Surprisingly, roman numerals are not, so I had to create all twelve (I - XII) myself. Was there another place to find these? Secondly, the default placement of these symbols were far too low. In Engraving Options > Playing Techniques, there is the option to globally set the minimum distance above staff for both text and symbols. However, generally speaking, the placement of other Playing Techniques is satisfactory so far. I was hoping/expecting there to be an option to globally edit to vertical height of specific symbols, independent of the other Playing Techniques. The dialogue window where I initially created the roman numeral symbols would have been a logical place, but I didn’t notice a place to do that there or other logical places, such as other libraries or the Properties Panel. Thanks.
We don’t have these position indicators created by default as playing techniques because we have plans to add them automatically based on the string and fingerings specified for notes. These wouldn’t be playing techniques, so we have avoided defining them as default playing techniques, but of course in the absence of this planned feature you can create them yourself, as you have done.
There’s no way to specify a different default position relative to the staff for different playing techniques at present, I’m afraid.

Thank you.

That’s going to be impressively intuitive!
